The aim of this project was to create a personal brand identity that reflects my approach as a digital designer, with a focus on motion design, illustration, and branding. The identity needed to feel contemporary, friendly, and adaptable, while working effectively across digital platforms such as my website, social media, and motion assets.
As a freelance-facing brand, the system also needed to communicate clarity, creativity, and professionalism, helping position me confidently within the digital design space.
Many personal brands for designers feel either overly minimal or visually generic, often failing to express personality or versatility. The challenge was to create an identity that balanced individuality with usability — something distinctive without becoming distracting.
The branding needed to function equally well as static visuals and animated elements, ensuring consistency across platforms while allowing room for experimentation and motion-led applications.
The final identity is built around a clean, typographic logo system supported by a soft gradient colour palette. The contrast between structured letterforms and expressive details allows the brand to feel both professional and personable.
Motion plays a key role in bringing the identity to life, with logo animations and transitions designed to feel fluid and natural, reinforcing the digital-first nature of the brand. The colour palette was chosen to feel fresh and modern, while remaining flexible enough to support a wide range of applications.
The result is a cohesive personal brand system that reflects my design style and skill set, while remaining adaptable for future growth and evolving creative output.
